Have you ever wanted to grow your own vegetables, but just don’t know where to get started?

The Yamhill County Master Gardeners Association can help.  Garden to Table is a free course for low income/food insecure adults and teenagers on planning, planting and harvesting a vegetable garden. Master Gardener Educators cover the basics of vegetable gardening in 12 hours over 6 weeks through in-person 2-hour classes with lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

Participants will receive at no cost:

  • Choose raised bed or containers (first time students) or Community Garden Bed
  • Soil (first time students)
  • Seeds and Plants
  • Course Booklet
  • Master Gardener Mentors will provide additional support for class attendees during the classes and throughout the gardening season

Repeat students will be waitlisted. 2 weeks before the course starts we will admit repeat students if there is space. If you are not low income/food insecure, please register for the Fall 2024 Course. We also offer a Spanish Language Spring 2024 Course.
