Have you ever wanted to grow your own vegetables, but just don’t know where to get started?
The Yamhill County Master Gardeners Association can help. Garden to Table is a free course for adults and teenagers on planning, planting and harvesting a vegetable garden. Master Gardener Educators cover the basics of vegetable gardening in 10 hours over 5 weeks through in-person 2-hour classes with lectures and hands-on demonstrations. The first 3 classes meet Fall 2024 and 2 additional classes will be in spring and summer 2025 (dates/times TBD).
Class is limited to 40 people. Repeat students will be waitlisted. 2 weeks before the course starts we will admit repeat students if there is space. If you are low income/food insecure you may register for the Low Income English or Spanish Spring 2024 Courses.
For more information, please contact the Yamhill County Extension Service by phone at 503-434-7517or email the Garden to Table team at g2t@ycmga.org.
